About Jennifer

Thank you for visiting my website. I was born and raised in Arlington, Texas, and graduated from James Martin High School in 1988. After living in several different parts of the country for school, I returned to my hometown and realized my lifelong goal of opening my own law practice.

Being a family law attorney requires a delicate balance of advocacy and compassion. So my goal is to go beyond the technical legal issues and address the human factors; the pain and fear of displacement and uncertainty. I seek to listen to my clients, really listen. I understand and empathize with the profound anguish and dislocation suffered by those who seek my help.

My goal is then to move a case along in a speedy and efficient manner. I will work to resolve your case reflecting both my expertise and your input. I am dedicated, above all, to fighting for and protecting your own and your children's best interest.

I believe that it is possible to produce outstanding legal results through a humane approach in resolving spousal and family discord. In that regard, I am also trained in collaborative law, which is an alternative to the litigation process. If the collaborative approach does not suit your particular situation, and litigation is necessary, I will make every effort to negotiate an amicable, fair and reasonable settlement and avoid escalating tension and hostilities. While I always strive for settlement, my first resolve is to advocate for you to achieve financial security and to keep the assets and property that belong to you.

My experience has demonstrated, however, that sometimes a settlement cannot be reached despite the best efforts of attorneys and clients. If trial is necessary, I have the legal knowledge, skill and experience to represent you and to proceed forward from a position of strength.

I am well aware that nothing is more frustrating to a client than lack of communication. I am committed to responding as quickly as possible to you and discussing every aspect of your case with you, thus avoiding confusion and discomfort. I am sensitive to my clients' unique individual needs and I am dedicated to deliver prompt, practical advice.

Choosing the right representation is the first step toward achieving a successful result for your family. My strong commitment is to provide the most professional, effective, compassionate and strong legal representation possible.
